I have myself become addicted to the 5 energy exercises, which is said to be ”the fountain of eternal youth”. I would like to give everyone the opportunity to get to know these exercises and get the same benefits that I have experienced. This is what gave me the idea to create this DVD.
On the DVD you will see the 5 exercises and I have also made a modified version of each one, if some should have difficulties with the original Tibetan exercise.

Background on the Five Tibetan Rites.
The exercises were thought up by Tibetan monks over 2000 years ago in their search for the fountain of eternal youth. It was the British Colonel Bradford who made the Western world aware of these rites. He had for a long time been fascinated by the legends of the Tibetan monks, who apparently could stay forever young. Eventually, he was able to get access to the monastery in the Himalayas. Here he learned of the theory behind the rites. The monks explained about the chakras, which are electro-magnetic patterns of energy consisting of light, sound and colour frequencies. Usually, these are not visible, but they are described as whirls or spirals around the centre of the chakras. The chakras are located close to the centre line of the body. Energy-wise they are linked to the meridians and therefore to the organs of the body. When the interdependent frequencies of the chakras are brought out of balance it will hamper the life energy.
One way of restoring the balance of the individual chakras is to attune them to a universal rhythm. It is exactly this universal rhythm that will be induced by practicing the Tibetan Rites. Colonel Bradford passed his knowledge on to the author Peter Kelder, who then in the late thirties wrote the book “The Five Tibetan Rites” . The Tibetan rites have success all over the world and are very impressive. It is not only that these rites are physical exercises; I believe that they are created to help mankind find the balance between the body and the soul. You will feel this when you get started with the exercises and have used them for a while. Having done the exercises, you will feel a sense of well being in the whole body. You will miss the exercises if you skip them for one day; this will be less frequent when you get the hang of it. The exercises are encouraging a healthy habit, which is beneficial for everyone.

Everyone Can Do the Rites.
It might sound strange that five simple yoga exercises, thought up by Tibetan monks, can keep you young, healthy and give you a lot of energy. The exercises are so simple that everyone no matter age or physical shape can learn to perform them. This will have a positive effect on one’s health. The exercises do not require much room or special equipment and it doesn’t have to take more than 15 minutes a day to do them.
In other words: the Tibetan Rites are perfect for our busy daily life.
How many repetitions and how often?
The Tibetan Rites should be exercised once a day for example in the morning when you get up or before going to bed at night. Some people sleep better after having done the rites others becomes more awake. Find out what suits you best.
Start with 3 repetitions of each rite and add 2 every week. After a couple of months you will be doing 21 repetitions. Find your own pace when doing the exercises. The idea is to do the exercises slowly enough in order to at the same time be aware of your body while not loosing the rhythm of the sequence of the rites.
Even those, who are already in a fairly good physical condition, should follow the guidelines as described. Should you have a day with limited time, or do you not feel that you want to make all 21, then just make 3 repetitions.
First and foremost do them at a pace that makes you feel comfortable
